It's hard to believe how fast the year has gone. Owen is now officially a 1 year old! When you look at his chubby legs and round, squishy cheeks, you would never know that he was a wee 5 lbs, 11 oz at birth. He was long, but so skinny. We called him our "little monkey". He seemed so fragile at first.
While our 27 pound boy is no longer tiny, and is anything but fragile, he is still super cuddly and contagiously happy. He loves to eat and never tires of watching Avery's every move. He would rather be in Mom and Dad's arms than anywhere on his own. As long as he has company and food, he's always in a good mood.
We've never forgotten the miracle surrounding Owen's birth. We are so grateful each and every day for this little rosy-cheeked, easy-going, chuckle-prone son... but especially on his birthday!
