Avery: The Shopper

Avery went on her first official shopping expedition this month. She had this Snap-and-Style doll that she had lost some time ago. She still has all the clothes, but no doll to dress up. Luckily, all the clothes are interchangeable. So, I told her that if she wanted to use money out of her "horsey bank", we could go to the store. She helped me count (a.k.a. spread out all the money) how much she had, and then we headed off to the store with her $19 in change. We had to go to 2 different stores before we found one, and she was very pleased. We lucked out that we also had a very nice cashier, who didn't mind when Avery was handing her coins to pay the bill. And the best part? The doll was even on sale for 1/2 price, so Avery still has $9 to spend on something else. Her current plan is to go to Dairy Queen. :)

And she shopped 'til she dropped!
