Jack-O-Lanterns

Carving pumpkins is something that was always fun as a kid, but has somehow lost its appeal as an adult. Luckily, Avery isn't really old enough to realize this tradition. The past few years, we have simply bought pumpkins and put them on the porch - that way they last through Thanksgiving. :) This year we were going to a Halloween party with a pumpkin contest... we couldn't show up emptyhanded! And pumpkins are so cheap when you wait until Halloween day to buy them. Here is our Spotted Owl!
